The Edmunds County Commission accepted the resignation of Sheriff Todd Holtz during their meeting on April 26, 2022.
The resignation was effective April 29, 2022.
The position of Edmunds County Sheriff was offered to Deputy Kyle Couchey. He turned them down.
The Commission voted to appoint Deputy Jonathan Waldner to serve as Sheriff effective April 29 at 5 p.m.
