IHS Track and Field competes in Groton on April 26

 


Ipswich attended a high school track and field meet at Groton on Tuesday, April 26 and the Tiger boys were second only to Class A Milbank, which indeed won the girls' outcome, as well.

The Milbank boys outscored Ipswich 177 to 139 and also rolled up 110 girls' team points to stave off the runners-up from Aberdeen Central 110-97.5. (Ipswich finished fifth in those team standings with its 61 team points.)

Ty Kadlec again won the 100-meter dash in :11.07 as well as the 200-meter dash in :23.20 and added anchor legs of the winning 4x100 and 4x200 relays, in :44.3 and 1:34.3, respectively. The o...
