This was one State B track and field meet that probably didn't require the 4x400 results in either the girls or boys outcomes last weekend in Sioux Falls. And how about the LRC, the girls from Northwestern were second only to Colman-Egan 99 to 48 and a LRC boys member Ipswich was able to finish second only to Chester Area 86 to 45.

I would think that the Colman-Egan girls and Chester Area boys were probably both favored to win their respective divisions and they would do exactly that.

And I'm guessing that since the Chester Area girls were fourth, you could easily figure out which school would receive the combined award this year.

Now we have some upcoming golf and Ipswich would certainly like to be in the mix of the boys' team outcome this weekend in the Rapid City area along with one Ipswich girl, Mollie Simon. And two Edmunds Central boys, Harrison Beyers and Cole Bukaske! So good luck to all you guys (and girl) in Rapid City on June 6-7.
