The shipment of cattle by the Ipswich Livestock Shipping Association last Saturday sold better than any shipment selling the past two or three weeks, as the runs had been heavy just before the holidays.
The heifers sold from $8 to $11.25 for one bunch; the cows $6.50 to $8.75. There were odd lots of cows at $8.75. Steers, light stockers $8.75 to $9.25.
