June is passing by rather quickly again this year, as it always seems to do. And that's despite a fact that we had already mentioned regarding the weekly newspaper business. If you look at a June calendar, you will indeed notice that this month has five Wednesdays, starting on June 1 and ending with the June 29 editions.

But that of course means that the first Wednesday in July will be July 6. So being that the Fourth will be on the preceding Monday, a holiday, we will need to have an early deadline for the July 6 newspaper material, which will be Friday, July 1 at noon. So keep that in mind if you are planning to submit items for those editions.

If all that seems just a bit confusing, it probably does to us also. And by then the nights will be a tiny bit longer, as we begin to progress towards autumn.
