PRESENTS LOVING CUP

Lou Mikalos of the Green Lantern Café promised the 1928 football squad if they won sixty percent of their games during the season he would present them with a silver loving cup.

The squad did the trick. They won all but one game and tied for championship of the Northeast Conference. Mr. Mikalos has the loving cup ready for the boys and it will be presented in the near future. The cup stands twelve inches high and is an attractive trophy for the team....
