IHS Homecoming festivities begin Monday with coronation

Ipswich School's annual Gala Day Homecoming festivities are planned for September 5-9. This year's theme is "Homecoming: A Netflix Original".

Coronation will be held Monday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. at the football field (weather permitting). 2022 Royalty candidates are Kaitlyn Bierman, Emily Knoll, Quincy Olivier, Ashley Ptacek, Ian Beyers, Carter Geditz, Isaiah Goetz and Evan Onken.

Tuesday the volleyball team takes on Sully Buttes in the Tiger Den starting with Middle School at 4:30 p.m. They head to Sunshine Bible Academy Thursday starting at 5:15 p.m. ("C" game).

The parade is Friday, September 9 at 1 p.m. Contact Shana Gohl at the Ipswich School to have an entry in the parade - 426-6571 or [email protected].

Friday night the Tigers will take on the Northwestern Wildcats at 7 p.m. Join the Junior class for a free-will donation meal prior to the game in the 4H building from 5 to 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend!


Theme days are planned throughout the week.

The parade route will remain the same as last year. The parade entries will line up on First Avenue by Holy Cross Church. The route will begin at First Avenue and Fifth Street, down Alma Avenue, turning on Main Street heading north, turning again on Fourth Avenue. Elementary students will leave the parade along 4th Avenue. The parade also disband on 4th Avenue.
