The Ipswich Flower and Garden Club hosts an annual church service at the Powell Church to showcase this unique part of Edmunds County history. This year’s church service will be held September 11 at 3 p.m.

In the fall of 1983, the Powell Church was donated to the Ipswich Flower and Garden Club and was moved from the Powell Community to Pioneer Village located in Ipswich. The church is now a museum celebrating the Welsh heritage of the Powell community.

Anyone can attend the service and although there is no admittance fee, donations are accepted to help with the maintenance and upkeep of the beautiful building and unique history.
