Christine "Chris" Steinhoff, age 70, of Annandale, Minn. died unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 9, 2022.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2022, at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake, Minn. with Fr. Kevin Magner as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery in Maple Lake. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday and from 9-10 a.m. on Friday, both at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral chapel.

Christine Anne Steinhoff was born March 31, 1952, in Buffalo, Minn. to Marvin and Alice (Erickson) Wurm. Chris grew up in Maple Lake, where she graduated high school in 1970. Following her graduation, Chris attended Normandale Community College to obtain a degree in dental hygiene. On January 27, 1979, Chris was united in marriage to Paul D. Steinhoff at St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Maple Lake. They lived in Richfield, Minn. and Marshall, Minn. for a short time, prior to moving to Maple Lake in 1984, and Annandale in 1990 to raise their three children.

For 46 years, Chris worked as a dental hygienist, retiring in 2018. Nothing brought her greater joy, than being in the presence of her family and cheering them on in all their endeavors, especially her four grandchildren. Chris relished her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother.

Chris is survived by her husband of 43 years, Paul of Annandale; children, Jeff (Jackie) Steinhoff of Annandale, Rebecca (Tim) Reynolds of Rochester, Minn., and Laura (Nick) Clemence of Waltham, Minn .; four adoring grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Sadie, and Raya; siblings, Michael (Cheryl) Wurm of Annandale, Nancy (Rick) Carlson of South Haven, Minn., Pamela (Dave) Eastman of Lake Wales, Fla .; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Alice.

Matt Steinhoff, Ryan Steinhoff, Tim Reynolds, Nick Clemence, Tyler Wurm, and Mike Kray will serve as casket bearers. Krista Elsenpeter and Shannon Paumen will provide music for the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Timothy Catholic Church in memory of Chris.
