Local churches will be celebrating Christmas this weekend.

The service times will include:

First Baptist Church

A Christmas Eve Candlelight service begins at 4 p.m. Saturday. Sunday morning there will be no Sunday School, but a music, praise and prayer service will begin at 10 a.m.

Holy Cross Catholic Church

The Holy Cross Parish Youth Choir will present “The Great Light” on Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the church. Prelude music will be provided by Music Scholars before the program.

The Christmas Eve Mass begins at midnight. The choir will begin caroling at 11:30 p.m. Christmas Sunday Mass begins at 9 a.m.

Ipswich United Church of Christ

The Christmas Eve service begins at 5:30 p.m. Christmas Sunday service begins at 10 a.m.

Richland Church

The Christmas Eve Candlelight Service begins at 6 p.m. The Christmas Day worship service begins at 10:45 a.m.

Zion Lutheran

The Christmas Sunday worship service begins at 11 a.m.
