The 2022 Ipswich Betterment Award was awarded at the Ipswich basketball game on Friday, Jan. 27 to Twila Thorstenson.

The nomination mentioned Twila's volunteer service at community events and fundraisers. She has volunteered on Trail Days committees.

Twila assists watering the flowers placed around the community.

She is also active in the UCC Church as past council president and youth education coordinator.

The Ipswich Betterment Award is awarded yearly by the Ipswich Commercial Club.
