The Edmunds County Conservation District and Ipswich Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will be hosting a spring workshop on March 22, 2023, at the Edmunds County 4-H Building in Ipswich.

Local producers are encouraged to attend to learn about the benefits of incorporating rye into a corn and soybean cropping system. Utilizing rye or other cover crops is an effective tool to help producers implement soil health practices. Cover crops put a living root in the soil to combat erosion, increase crop diversity and help improve soil aggregate stability.
