Ipswich/Bowdle wrestler Lucas Rowland placed sixth at the Boys State B Wrestling Tournament last week in Rapid City.

I/B received 15 points for 32nd place. Canton won the Boys B division with 163.5 points. Winner was second.

In the B-285 division Rowland won by fall over Jaden Richter of Garretson (3.28). Then he pinned Isaac Nehlich of Tri-Valley in 2:35. Then he faced the eventual division winner, Traun Cook of Canton. Cook won by major decision 11-2. Then Rowland faced the two wrestlers he met earlier. First Richter won by decision 3-2. In the fifth place match, Nehlich won by decision 3-1....
