Twenty-two Edmunds County Shooting Sports members attended the State Shoot in Ft. Pierre on April 28-30.

BB Gun participants, their scores, and ribbon placings are as follows: Beginners Addison Galbraith-266.2-Red, Isabella Galbraith-279.3, Ashlyn Heilman- 325.1-Blue, Jase Heilman-236.1-White, Bailey Heintzman-324.2-Blue, William Hoyle-283.1-Red, Isabelle Morales-234.1 -White, Kalynn Oban-323.2-Blue, Adelyn Pollock-325.3-Blue, Brynlee Rasmussen- 292.3-Blue, Austin Sieh-261.1-Red; Juniors Grayson Beyers-276-White, Ben Hoyle-304.1-Red; and Seniors Hannah Beyers-348.11-Red, Lincoln Beyers-330.2- Red, and Nevaeh Moser-334.7-Red.

There were three Beginner BB Gun teams and one Senior BB Gun team. One beginner team received blue ribbons and the rest of the teams received red ribbons.

Air Pistol participants, their scores, and ribbon placings are as follows: Junior Grayson Beyers-98-White-Rapid Fire-37-White; Seniors Hannah Beyers-48-White, Rapid Fire-7-White, Lincoln Beyers-114-Red-Rapid Fire-27-White, Adam Kanable-127-Red-Rapid Fire-43- White, and Emerald Wittmeier-101-Red-Rapid Fire-40-White.

The Senior Air Pistol team received red ribbons.

Archery participants, their discipline, scores, and ribbon placings are as follows: Beginners Tara Fischer-CWOSR-69-White, Ashlyn Heilman-CWSR-119.3-Red, Jase Heilman-CWSR-79.1-White, Adelyn Pollock-CWSR-134.6-Blue, Brynlee Rasmussen-CWOS-80.1-Red; Juniors Alexis Fischer-CWSR-137.6-Blue, Ben Hoyle-CWOS- 74-Red, Ben Hoyle-CWSR-100.4-White; Seniors Hannah Beyers-CWSR-108.1-White, Lincoln Beyers-CWSR-112.2-Red, Grant Fischer-CWSR-144.8-Purple, Jillian Fischer-CWSR-133.6-Blue, Adam Kanable-CWSR-129.5-Blue, Emerald Wittmeier-CWSR-133.7-Blue.

The Beginner Archery CWSR team received red ribbons and Senior Archery CWSR team received blue ribbons.

Monday night, May 1 ended the season with a pizza party and receiving their state ribbons with most members and family attending.
