Frank Bosch was born on March 16,1933 near Strasburg, N.D., the sixth child of John and Mary (Ibach) Bosch. Frank attended country school and served in the US Army from 1953-1955.

He married Eileen Baumgartner on September 30, 1957. They moved to Jamestown where Frank was employed by R. M. Stout and about a year later they purchased "Frank's Bar" in Strasburg which they operated from 1959-1967. Frank then went into several business ventures including the DeLaval Dairy Shop and working as a bulk agent for Miller's Service. In 1973 Frank and Eileen purchased the Buddy Feist farm north of Strasburg.  During that time, he also took on the dealership of Vermeer Balers. They lived on the farm until 1997; then moved into Strasburg.

Frank was a former member of the Strasburg Improvement Committee, the Beaver Valley Horse Club, and the Strasburg Lions Club.  He was a lifelong member of The Church of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Strasburg.

Frank loved to hunt and fish and his love of the land was deeply rooted.  After leaving the farm, he continued nurturing those plants in his backyard garden and at the over-sized watermelon and pumpkin patch at the farm.  He loved his tractors and even though his health was declining, he'd ride his little red tractor around town removing snow from driveways and the St. Peter & Paul church grounds.

Eileen passed away in 2003. Frank married Madonna (Tuhrmann) Grismer of Hosmer, SD in 2008. They lived in Strasburg until 2022 when Frank became a resident at the Strasburg Care Center.

Frank is survived by his children, Debbie Weber of Linton, N.D., and Frank Bosch Jr. (special friend Larissa) of Strasburg, N.D.; son-in-law, John Weber of Linton, ND; four grandchildren, Deann Eberle of Ashley, N.D., Kylie (Joel) Eberhart of Pollock, Alissa (Caleb) Wiest, Herreid and John Brandon Weber of Linton, N.D.; seven great-grandchildren, Gracie, Harmony, Hope, and Joel Wyatt "JW" Eberhart and Liam and Drew Wiest and Paisley Ann; sister, Bernice Fettig; brother, Bill (Mae) Bosch; sister-in-law, Jane Bosch; hunting buddy, Jim Merkt; brothers and sisters in-law, Barry and Cheryl Baumgartner, Cil VanBeek, Tom and Mary Baumgartner; and many nieces and nephews.
