This is National Newspaper Week. Newspapers have truly been under siege the past year on many different levels.

Enuff said about that! It’s also the beginning of the post-season in high school fall sports so good luck to the area cross country runners who were scheduled to run today (Oct. 10) in the regional meet in Gettysburg. And also good luck to yes, the I-EC football team which has apparently made the playoffs starting on Oct. 18 somewhere.

And last, but not least, good luck to the area netters!
