    Marv Seyer presented a copy of his book "The Prosperous Years of Ipswich High School Sports" to Lorie Heinz. The book is dedicated to Lorie's daughter Angela, who was an IHS student athlete who passed away. A copy of the book can be viewed at the Tribune office or Ipswich State Bank.     The 2024 North Central Thunder basketball kickoff is planned on Saturday, Dec. 7 in the Edmunds Central School at 4 p.m. The event showcases the high school boys and girls basketball teams, along with the Jr. Thunder participants. There will be three-on-three competitions, shooting games and other activities to get ready for the upcoming season. Activities are open to Thunder youth in grades 2-5.     On Sunday, November 10, senior Gabe Johnson ran in the Nike Heartland Regional Championship Cross Country Meet at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls.     In the football battle of the Tigers on Halloween, the Howard Tigers were the most powerful. The Howard Tigers stopped the Ipswich Tigers 54-0 in Howard in the Class 9A State Quarterfinal.     The Ipswich Tigers Volleyball team got a senior night 3-1 win over Aberdeen Christian on Oct. 22 in the Tiger Den. IHS won the first set 25-21, then the Knights won the second 22-25.
