Highway 12 construction west of Ipswich

The South Dakota Department of Transportation began asphalt concrete work on Highway 12 from Roscoe to Ipswich on Tuesday, Sept. 24.
The work includes signage, milling and asphalt concrete paving.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane and controlled with flaggers and pilot car.
This work is part of a nearly $4.5 million contract with Anderson Western, Inc. to do repair work on Highway 12 in the Aberdeen region.
Motorists are asked to be aware of suddenly slowing and stopped traffic, and to be aware of construction workers and equipment adjacent to the roadway.
