A new feature in this year's Snow Queen Festival was a Talent Contest. The junior and senior division winners will compete at the South Dakota Snow Queen Festival in January.

The first place winners were vocal soloists, the Sanborn sisters - junior Kylee and senior Jayna. Gracyn Kadlec, who played the piano and sang, was the junior second place winner. The senior second place winner, Tessa Kilber, was not able to perform in the evening due to health concerns.

The talent contestants performed for the judges earlier Saturday. There were two senior division entrants and six junior division entrants.
