Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court St. Katharine Drexel #2516 of Roscoe, Hosmer and Bowdle recently sponsored a local education contest.

The winners of the contest were:

• Art category - Division I, grades 4-5: first place Kearstin Pietz of Roscoe, second place Elaina Morales, and third place Hsa Soe, both of Ipswich

• Art category - Division II, grades 6-8: first place Hay Than Soe, second place Gracyn Kadlec, both of Ipswich

The entries of the first place winners go on to the state contest held later this spring.
