The Ipswich Marching Band is preparing for the Gala Day parade, as well as local band festivals. They will attend the second annual Roncalli Marching Band Festival on Wednesday morning, Sept. 30.
The event runs from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and will feature 11 bands. They will march along 15th Ave. from Main St. to Dakota St., eventually ending up in the Roncalli High School Parking Lot.
The IHS band will also participate in the Groton Lake Region Marching Festival on October 9, according to IHS band director Becky Nierman....
