Shooting Sports begins soon for 4-H members

The Edmunds County 4-H BB Gun and Archery Shooting Sports programs will be starting this month. These programs take place at the 4-H Building in Ipswich and are open to youth between the ages of 8 (by January 1, 2021) and 18 that are registered 4-H members.
Both disciplines will begin on Monday, January 11 at 6:30 p.m. with a cleanup/setup night. Coaches Joe Galbraith and Jim Kanable will also discuss the time and date of practices and any changes in the program.
Members MUST be accompanied by an adult to help with individual instruction and discipline. Weekly practices will be held with the goal of qualifying for the state shoot in April.
The cost for both programs is minimal. The clubs have a limited amount of equipment for use; but it is recommended that members buy their own gun or bow.
