The Ipswich girls' basketball varsity outlasted Wolsey-Wessington 55-45 last Wednesday afternoon in Wolsey.

Halle Heinz and Katie Bierman combined for 44 points, led by Heinz with 33 points and Bierman with 11. Heinz included two treys and Bierman, one. Next was Chesney Olivier with five points and Hailey Bierman, Lindsey Grabowska and Halie Feldman with two points each.

Mya Boomsma tallied 19 points to lead the hosts and Faith Nelson was next with nine points.
