Local student winner of Catholic of Daughters of Americas contest

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas held their state education contest in April.  

In Division 3 (grades 9-12) in the category of computer art, the second place winner was Luke Beyers who attends Ipswich High School.

Winning third place in the Division 4 (adult CDA members) for both poetry and photography, was Geralyn Malsom of Hosmer who is a member of Court St. Katharine Drexel #2516 of Roscoe/Bowdle/Hosmer.

Both received certificates and cash prizes.

The theme for this year's contest was "Let all you do be done with love" or "Show love to one another."
