Benefit planned to help with medical costs for Hoven man

A benefit is planned for Lance Stuwe of Hoven on Saturday, June 26 in the Hoven Legion Hall from 5 to 8 p.m.

Stuwe suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) on May 1 after falling down the stairs at his home. He spent 25 days in the hospital and is unsure when he will be able to return to running his own flooring business (Stuwe Flooring).

The benefit will help with medical costs and help him and his family in this difficult time. He and his wife, Krystal (Davis) had previously lived in Ipswich.

Beef sandwiches will be served at the benefit. A Silent Auction and Raffle are planned. Auction items may be dropped off at the Hoven Co-op or mailed to Lance Stuwe Benefit, Box 51, Hoven, SD 57450. Donations can also be dropped off at Active Care Chiropractic Ipswich.
