Pastor Wickard to retire, Open House and service June 27

The Richland Church is celebrating the retirement of Pastor Ron Wickard as lead pastor on Sunday, June 27th. Pastor Ron and Kaye have ministered at Richland for the past 42 years.
A special service is planned to celebrate Pastor Ron’s retirement during the Morning Worship service on June 27 at 10:45 a.m.
The church body plans to look to God — the one who has given all strength and grace and mercy to the Wickards during their ministry.
Pastor Sam Crabtree, a close friend and ministry colleague of Pastor Ron, will be sharing the message that morning. The church body will be presenting a gift to Pastor Ron and Kaye and the elders will be praying over them.
The community is also invited to attend an Open House at the Richland Church on Sunday, June 27 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for all who’d like to help celebrate Pastor Ron’s retirement, providing an opportunity to share thoughts and encouragements with the Wickards. Refreshments will be served.
The Richland Church is located 8 miles south of Ipswich and 10 miles east on the Warner Road.
