HOUSE ON WHEELS
The G.E. Porter family of Eldorado, Texas passed through Ipswich, Tuesday on their way to Yellowstone Park. They were traveling in a house on wheels. The Porters travel through the southern states in the winter and the Northern states in the summer. They distribute Mexican pottery at various points, having recently left a large amount at resorts near the Dells of Wisconsin. They also obtain Indian curios from the tribes of the north and sell them. Mr. Porter is a theatrical artist, painting scenery. He obtains the inspiration for his sets from these travels about the country. Mrs. Porter remarked that she notices a much greater spirit of progressiveness in the small towns of the north in comparison with those of the south.
