FEM Electric and Northern Electric were hosts of this year's S.D. Rural Electric Assn. Annual Charity Ride on Sept. 11.

A host of vehicles, including motorcycles, cars, pickups and even a trolley, drove in the ride to raise funds. The money raised helps coop families in need. Whether it is health problems, loss of property or any other major life-changing event that may happen.

The ride was started 19 years ago by the S.D. Rural Electric Assn. and it has raised over half a million dollars to help families in need. To date, the ride, which is done on a yearly basis, has helped 220 families...
