IHS XC teams earn places at State B

The State B Cross Country meet took place last Saturday, Oct. 23, in Sioux Falls.
The boys' team winner, sweeping our region and the state was, as you might predict, Miller dropping down to Class B this year. (Although the Miller girls didn't fare quite as well.) The Miller boys topped Northwestern 25 to 48 as a team. Freeman Academy/Marion was third and Philip was fourth in the boys' standings.
The girls' B was won by Kimball/White Lake over Potter County 26 to 29. Ipswich was fourth in the girls' team outcome at 45 just behind third-place Aberdeen Christian with 44.
