Sam Grabowska will compete in the State Oral Interpretation Festival December 3 and 4 in Huron.
IHS students competed in the Oral Interpretation District October 25. IHS participants were Sam, Gavin Wollman, Chloe Jager, Evelyn Tran and Kaden Boettcher.
Sam was chose to compete with two pieces in the Regional 5B competition in Pierre on Nov. 15. IHS alternates were Gavin, Evelyn and Kaden.
Sam won with his humorous entry at the Regional. The Class B Humorous Reading competition is Friday afternoon, Dec. 3 in Huron High School.
