COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS TREE

The Community Christmas Tree was erected Thursday at the intersection of Main Street near the bank buildings. The tree towered twenty feet in the air and came from the Pine Hills near Ismay, Montana.

Being gaily lighted with varied colored lights and mingled with the frost it made an attractive holiday street decoration.

On the Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. Santa Claus arrived in his automobile with sleigh runners and unloaded his pack of goodies. He had plenty to treat the 500 children who were out to meet him.

What fun they had! These occasions always bring forth the best of community spirit. It makes happiest the main object. It provides a treat for some who would not be remembered.

The committee in charge, Elmer Lass, Ken Herrick, Sam Aberman, Iliff Lindamood and Jake Zahalka, made this enterprise of the Commercial Club a success.
