PARMLEY SELLS SHETLAND PONIES

Monday was Blue Monday for a lot of Ipswich kids as well as being a Circus and Rodeo day for many. William Riebolt of St. Paul blew into town Saturday in search of a car load of Shetland Ponies and before the end of a perfect day had bought forty-four of the J. W. Parmley herd. Word was passed around that they would be shipped Monday and those that were loaned out were to be assembled to select from.

Reluctantly many were brought in and the boys of town were on hand to help drive, lasso or ride the wild ones and bid good bye to Ginger, Beauty, Pinto, Prine, little Prince, Curly Tail and all the rest. It was a day long to be remembered and marks an era in the lives of many of the children of town and country.

Mr. Parmely has about eighty ponies left and is receiving many inquiries for these noble little animals.
