Nancy Ertz Couhig (Nancy Kay Ertz) passed away with her family at her side on January 19, 2022 at Swedish Hospital in Edmonds, Wash., where she had lived for the last 45 years.

She is survived by her husband and son.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Edmonds Theater in Edmonds Wash.

Nancy never forgot her rural roots and was a leader in 4H activities where she could express her love for cooking and canines including her beloved Boston Terriers. Many 4H youth came to think of her as their other mother.
