Four seats are up for re-election on the Ipswich City Council.

Council seats coming vacant due to the expiration of the present term are Ward I, two-year term (Michael Hammrich); Ward II, two-year term (Mike Steen); Ward III, two-year term (Jon Gilbert) and Ward III, one-year term (Erica Larson).

Circulation of nominating petitions began on Jan. 28, 2022 until Feb. 25, 2022. Petitions may be filed in the finance officer office in the Ipswich City Office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Or they may be mailed by registered mail not later than February 25, 2022, at 5 p.m.
