IHS Artists earn honors at Northern

Kamryn Boettcher and Quincy Olivier attended the Art Wars at Northern State University.
They competed in the Drawing and Painting categories. They had 90 minutes to create a piece of art inspired by a prompt. Then they gave an artist's statement to the judge explaining their piece.
Quincy placed first in drawing, and third in painting. Kamryn placed third in drawing.
They are both eligible to compete at the state level in Rapid City during the state basketball tournament March 17-19. Quincy will be participating in Art Wars virtually.
