1987: Mild month with an average high of 66° - Area went from the wettest in 47 years in 1986 (6.20) to the driest with only a trace in 1987 – 23 days had high temps. in the 60s and 70s.

1992: April had a record high temp. of 98° on the 23rd.

1997: A major rain and snow mix resulted in extreme blizzard conditions from an five inch snowfall and strong NW winds – The wintry mix measured 1.80 moisture but the major problem was a power outage which lasted 14 hours.

2001: Typical high and low temps. until the last six days of the month which averaged a high temp. of 74° – A big wintry mix of precip. occurred on the 21st and 22nd when rain turned to snow that added up to 8 inches and melted down to 1.35 moisture – Not much wind though.
