District 23 Candidate Forum planned in Leola

A Candidate Forum for District 23 will be held Monday, May 9 at the Leola Municipal Building, at 7 p.m.
The six candidates vying for state senate and state house will be in attendance to answer your questions.
All six candidates are Republicans so the winners on June 7 will determine who represents District 23 in Pierre for the 2023-24 legislative sessions. One must be a registered Republican to vote for the legislative candidates.
Early voting began April 22. Those who are not registered to vote may register by May 23.
