First Baptist re-dedication planned

The First Baptist Church of Ipswich will have a Re-Dedication Day on Sunday, May 1.
The Worship Service begins at 10 a.m., followed by lunch in the basement. The Re-Dedication Service begins at 1 p.m.
The guest speaker for both services is Randy Rasmussen, Executive Minister of the American Baptist Church of the Dakotas. Rev. Rasmussen was raised in a small town in South Dakota, served in the USAF at Grand Forks AFB, ND, and has pastored three churches in South Dakota. A graduate of Sioux Falls Seminary and a "second career" pastor, Randy also has years of administrative experience in previous work with both non-profit and for-profit organizations. He announced his plans to retire effective September 30, 2022. Rasmussen has served in the role since September 2013.
Special music will be provided by Michael Marmorstein of Aberdeen.
All are invited to attend the events celebrating the improvements that have been done in the church building.
