Richland Church welcomes new Assistant Pastor

Richland Church announces that Stephen Duncan has been hired as an Assistant Pastor.

The Richland Elder board had been praying, looking, and hoping for an additional staff member to help them better live out our existence statement of “magnifying Jesus Christ, so that people might see, savor, and declare the Glory of God in the face of Christ.”

“We’re excited to have Pastor Stephen help us along that journey,” said Pastor Jason Dignan.

Stephen has been a part of the Richland Church for a number of years, serving both as a volunteer in various roles and leadership positions and also previously on staff at the church as youth pastor. He has served this past school year, as co-leader of the youth group.

In this new full-time role, his responsibilities will be to primarily oversee both the Children and Youth ministries as well as help to care for many of the local church operations. He began on June 21.

Stephen and Valerie and their children Lincoln, Sam, Lucy and Daisy live in Ipswich. Stephen previously worked at Avantara nursing home in Ipswich. Valerie teaches Kindergarten in the Ipswich School District.

The Richland Church is located eight miles south of Ipswich on Highway 45 and 10 miles east on the Warner Road.
