"4-H...Where Dreams Come True" theme for 2022 Achievement Days

 


“4-H…Where Dreams Come True” is the slogan for the 2022 Edmunds County 4-H Achievement Days on August 3-5. Activities take place at the 4-H Grounds in Ipswich.

Mark your calendars and plan on stopping by to see the accomplishment of local youth.

Wednesday morning starts off the three days with the Dog Show starting at 8 a.m. followed by the Cat Show. The Horse Fun Day is at the Trail Days Complex starting at 4 p.m. will finish off the day.

Thursday kicks off with the poultry show at 8:30 a.m. followed by the Rabbit Show. The judging of static projects will start off the afternoon followed by the market animal weigh ins. The day will conclude with the evening program which includes the crowning of the 2022 Cloverbud Royalty, Pre 4-H Pet Show, Project Runway, and announcing of Best of Show winners.


The Livestock Show is the main event for Friday. This will begin at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Showmanship Challenge Activity. There will also be a Soil Health Demonstration in the afternoon.

The three days will finish up with the Chicken BBQ starting at 5:30 p.m. and Livestock Premium Sale.

Concessions will be available all three days.
