The W.I.N. Jr. Legion baseball team advanced to the state contest, with a big win over Redfield 22-8.
State Class "B" Jr. Baseball Tournament action will take place Aug. 5, 6 and 7 in Clark. W.I.N. plays Lake Norden/Badger at 10 a.m. on Friday.
Other teams in the tourney are Lennox, Winner/Colume, Groton, Belle Fourche, Hamlin/Bryant and the host team Clark/Willow Lake.
Local team members are Xavier Kadlec and Mac Heinz.
