Busy Fall for IHS Band

The IHS Marching Band in the Gala Day parade.

The Ipswich Marching Band will participate in the Roncalli Marching Festival on September 28. The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. and the IHS band will perform at 9:40 a.m. The bands march along 15th Ave. NE from N. Lincoln Street to N. Dakota Street. The awards ceremony will be in the Roncalli High School after the parade.

That is only the start of the bands schedule. They will participate in the Legion Region Marching Festival in Groton on Oct. 7. The parade is at 10 a.m. and is along Main Street. The Award Ceremony is at the football field after the parade. The next day, Oct. 8, the band will march in the Gypsy Day Parade. There is an awards ceremony on the NSU campus green following the last band in the parade. Last, but not least, the IHS Marching Band will march in the Hobo Day parade on Oct. 29 in Brookings. The parade starts at 9:30 a.m.
