Ipswich Veterans Day program

Captain Jeromy Loken administers the Oath of Enlistment to Kaitlyn Williams during the program.

The Ipswich Veterans Day program was held on Monday, Nov. 14 in the School Theatre.

The Girls Chorus sang during the Veterans Day program.

The program had been postponed due to wintry weather on Nov. 11.

The IHS band and girls chorus provided musical presentations.

Ipswich Girls Staters Ashlyn Weig and Quincy Olivier did readings. Boys Stater and Student Council president Evan Onken did the welcome. Gavin Wollman told about about the history of Veterans Day.

Superintendent Trent Osborne spoke on "Greatness Requires Sacrifice." Then he introduced National Guard Captain Jeromy Loken, also an IHS teacher, who presented the Oath of Enlistment to IHS senior Kaitlyn Williams.

The Ipswich Legion Post presented and retired the United State Colors.
