Nominating petitions for city government offices which are becoming vacant due to term expirations may now be circulated.
Petitions for Ipswich City Council are available to be circulated. Petitions may be filed with the Finance Officer in the City Office during normal business hours, Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., no later than February 24, 2023 at 5 p.m.
The offices that will become vacant due to the expiration of the present term of office are:
• Two-year term Mayor (presently LeRoy Kilber)
• Two-year term Ward I council member (presently Chris Gillick)
• Two-year term Ward II council member (presently David Coisman)
• Two-year term Ward III council member (presently Erica Larson)
If an election is necessary it will be on April 11, 2023.
