Three Ipswich/Bowdle wrestlers qualified for the State B Wrestling Tournament February 23 to 25 in Rapid City.

Lucas Rowland placed second in the 285 division. Kadyn Weisser placed third in the 220 division and Justin Rohrbach was fourth in the 182 division.

The first round matches begin at 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23.

Justin will meet Josh Merkle of Canton in the first round. Kadyn will wrestle Kade Grocett of McCook Central/Montrose. Lucas will wrestle Jaden Richter of Garretson.

Ipswich/Bowdle placed tenth in Region 1B tournament action on Saturday, Feb. 18 in Volga with 75 points. Redfield won the tournament with 165.5 points with Kingsbury County second and Faulkton Area third.

195 - Grant Weisser lost by decision (7-2), won by fall (1:16), lost by fall (2:11), won by fall (1:22) for fifth place, 10 team points

220 - Kadyn Weisser won by decision (5-4), lost by tech fall (16-1), won by fall (2:48), won by fall (4:53) for third place, 16 team points
