IHS art students go to war and get wins

IHS artists at the NSU Art Wars included Kamryn Boettcher, Quincy Olivier and Marcus Hofer.
Ipswich High School art students competed in the Northern State University Art Wars on Saturday, Feb. 18.
The students had 90 minutes to create a piece of art with a prompt in the categories of painting and drawing.
Kamryn Boettcher placed first in both drawing and painting. Quincy Olivier placed second in painting. Marcus Hofer also competed.
Boettcher and Olivier qualified to compete at the state level in Rapid City on March 18.
