IHS musicians earn excellent and superior ratings at contest

Ipswich Vocal and Band students attended Region 4 Music Contest at Aberdeen Recreation and Cultural Center on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.
Groups performing that day were: soprano/alto vocal ensemble, nine vocal solos, a flute solo and a tuba solo. Students received Excellent and Superior ratings while seniors Emily Knoll and Gavin Wollman scored perfect or near perfect scores on their instrumental solos.
The vocal students are directed by Nate Collins and the band students are directed by Becky Nierman.
