Ipswich School art teacher Angela Shimitz was nomitinated as a S.D. Art Educator of the Year.

Angela is a K-12 Art teacher that also teaches photography and 3D arts. She has been the Yearbook advisor for the past 13 years. Her students have won the Jostens Program of Excellence the last 10 years. Her art classes have also competed and won awards in a variety of programs like ArtWars, the State Art competition, YAM, All Dakota, SD Jr. Duck Stamp, and a series of other competitions.
