A variety of familiar characters will be seen in the IHS play on Friday

Looking for big laughs and big adventure in a kingdom far, far away? Then look no further than the hysterical Sleeping Beauty and the Beast, written by Wade Bradford, and produced by special arrangement with Heuer Publishing LLC of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Both timely and timeless, this all-ages comedy follows the valiant quest of the bumbling but good-hearted Prince Charmless as he attempts with all his might to save Princess Rose from the Wicked Faerie and her sleep-induced curse. Along the way, Prince Charmless meets and befriends Puss 'N' Boots, Snow White, the Headless Horseman and Beast. This fractured fairy includes characters from many different books.

There will be flashing lights included in this production. Due to copyright laws, it will not be live streamed.

The production includes live music from the Fairy Land Band with members Lawson Santema, Wes Kirkham, and Chase Kraft.

The cast includes Kamryn Boettcher, Lilly Judkins, Emily Knoll, Quincy Olivier, Gavin Wollman, Sam Grabowska, Adam Kanable, Evelyn Tran, Kadyn Weisser, Savannah Coisman, Shaylee Coisman, Hayden Crissman, Marcus Hofer, Brooks Osborne, Gunnar Knittel, Natalie Crissman, with special guests Laila Middleton, Sophie Crissman, Ivy Shimitz, Avery Shimitz, Kady Schreurs, and Makayla Schreurs.
