Busy Trail Days begin Friday

Priscilla Block will perform in Ipswich Saturday.

Trail Days 2023 will feature Priscilla Block in concert on Saturday, June 17 at 8 p.m. at the Trail Days arena.

Saddle Broncs and Bull Riding will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday.

The festivities will begin on Friday, June 16. The Wily Wizards Amazing Race will have teams heading out at 5 p.m. to local businesses. The Julie Heinz-Johnson 3x3 Basketball Tournament will begin at 6:15 p.m. at the basketball court by the swimming pool.

The Barstool Prophets will perform in concert at 9 p.m. Friday.

Saturday

The parade will line-up at 10 a.m. south of the school. The parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the theme "The 70's." Entries are still welcome. Message Ashley Pitz at 605-216-9064.

The parade route continues south of the school on Fifth Street turning on Alma Ave. to Main Street. They will head north to 4th Ave. turning west until Fifth St. ending at the school.

An afternoon of activities are planned after the parade at the arena. Activities will include a magic show, kiddie train, and free inflatables. A Corn Hole Tournament will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Urbandale will be the opening act for the Priscilla Block concert at 8 p.m. They will return for the After-Party Concert.

Sunday

Plan on attending Cowboy Church on June 18 at 9:30 a.m. at the Trail Days Arena, with Pastor Dave Morrison. Sit in your car or bring your own chair for the service.

The Baptist Church is providing doughnuts and inviting you to bring your own beverage.
